Anna has practised in personal injury law for almost 20 years.
Anna is passionate about the pursuit of justice and is dedicated to assisting clients to achieve solutions and outcomes by pursuing their legal rights.
After spending 12 years at one of Australia’s largest commercial and defendant insurance firms, and 8 years at Australia’s largest plaintiff firm, Anna understands the needs and drivers of both sides of an injury claim.
Anna also has experience in commercial litigation. She has litigated in a range of courts including the Queensland Court of Appeal, Queensland Supreme Court and Queensland District Court, the Federal Court of Australia, the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission, the High Court of Australia and the High Court of Hong Kong.
In 2016, Anna was a finalist for the Queensland Law Society’s Agnes McWhinney Award which recognises outstanding professional or community contribution by a Queensland female lawyer.
The continuing education of lawyers is also something Anna is passionate about. She is regularly invited to present papers on litigation or injury law at premier law conferences including the Queensland Law Society’s State Symposium, the QLS Gold Coast Symposium, the QLS Personal Injuries Annual Conference and the Australian Lawyer’s Alliance State Conference. She has regularly conducted internal training programs for lawyers and now sits on the planning committee for QLS conferences.
Anna is an Adjunct Senior Teaching Fellow at Bond University where she has authored and lectures the post-graduate subject Expert Witness & Dispute Resolution.
Anna is the Immediate Past President of the Gold Coast District Law Association, a former member of the Bond University Law School Advisory Board, a former member of the My Community Legal Executive Committee and a member of the Australian Lawyers Alliance.
