Julian practices in Corporate Law focusing on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, Initial Public Offerings (‘IPOs’), ASX matters, private equity transactions and general corporate and compliance work.
Julian graduated with a Bachelor of Laws with 1st class honours from the Griffith University Law School and also holds a Bachelor of International Business. Since joining the firm, Julian has been admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW and Qld in 2013 and is a solicitor of the High Court of Australia.
Julian has also been shortlisted as a finalist in the Mergers & Acquisitions category at the 2018 30 Under 30 Awards, hosted by Lawyers Weekly. Now in its sixth year, the 30 Under 30 Awards program recognises young lawyers striving for professional excellence within their specific practice area.
Julian has a broad knowledge of corporate law and has particular industry expertise in the health, veterinary, technology and automotive sectors. Julian has applied his expertise across a number of large scale transactions, including advising on and assisting in the private equity acquisition of Australian Childcare Projects by Morgan Stanley. Julian was also instrumental in the recent rollup and ASX listing of a veterinary business, and has assisted with the company’s expansion through a range of further strategic acquisitions.
Julian also assists clients with general commercial law including structuring, intellectual property, employment and property law advice.
Julian applies his experience to assist clients with timely and practical advice.
