Ailsa has worked exclusively in family law since she was admitted to practise. She is currently head of the Family Law Department on the Gold Coast.
Ailsa has gained experience representing clients in a broad range of financial and parenting matters, both in Court and through alternative dispute resolution methods at a preeminent Gold Coast Firm. She is particularly interested in financial matters, especially those involving corporate entities and parenting matters involving the recovery of children or risk factors. However, she has the skills to assist clients in all areas of family law.
Ailsa’s objective is to assist her clients with a holistic resolution of their family law matters. She would prefer to assist her clients using Alternative Dispute Resolution in which she has experience but also has the relevant skills and experience to help her clients navigate the Court process when Court intervention is necessary.
Ailsa understands that taking the first step to seeing a lawyer can be difficult and emotional. She would like to think that after meeting with her that they feel comfortable and confident in her ability to guide them through the often confusing process.
Ailsa joined Ramsden Lawyers in 2019 and is Special Counsel and head of the department for the Gold Coast Family Law division.
