Katherine Evans

Katherine Evans is a Senior Associate in our family law team. She has worked in family law since her admission to practice and has a Master of Applied Law (Family Law). She is also trained in Collaborative Practice.

Katherine has experience across a broad spectrum of complex financial and parenting disputes. She has worked in matters where there are issues of non-disclosure, valuation disputes, forensic investigation and dissipation of assets. She is experienced in matters where there are allegations of risk of harm to children and family violence, and where arrangements for children require a consideration of culture, neurodiversity and relocation.

Katherine adopts a pragmatic and settlement focused approach when advising clients and is empathetic to each client’s individual needs and concerns.

Katherine aims to ensure clients have a clear understanding of the different process options available to them. Her preference is to assist clients negotiate an agreement through mediation, however, Katherine is also experienced in representing clients through the litigation process.

Katherine’s objective when advising clients is to understand and help clients achieve their goals as efficiently and cost effectively as possible. She strives to provide legal advice which informs clients and offers them tailored solutions for consideration.  Katherine’s listening skills, patience and empathetic approach to family law makes her attuned to each client’s needs and goals.
