- the amendment demand an administrative process, being an application to the Registrar of the PPSR to amend or remove a registration, and
- the amendment demands judicial process, being the application to the Court to make an order to amend or remove a registration.
Importantly, only a person with an interest in the collateral can apply under the amendment demand process, including for instance, the owner of property, someone who has procession of property, an agent, grantor, or external administrator.
