John Ramsden Managing Partner of the Year

John Ramsden of Ramsden Lawyers wins the Australian ‘Managing Partner of the Year’ award at the 2019 Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards, recognising John as Australia’s leading Managing Partner in 2019.

The annual Australian Law Awards is the legal professions highest and most prestigious awards event recognising the best lawyers throughout Australia, with the Managing Partner of the Year award being one of the most coveted of all the categories.

Having been nominated as finalist in 10 categories, the fifth highest of the night, Ramsden Lawyers was against a strong class of finalists who mainly drew from top tier and international law firms.

As the first Gold Coast recipient of the Managing Partner of the Year award, it is a testament to John and his leadership at Ramsden Lawyers to demonstrate to the rest of Australia that the Gold Coast legal profession can compete and shine on the national stage.

Ramsden Lawyers is the Gold Coast’s largest and most diverse legal practice, also having offices in Sydney and Brisbane which collectively comprise 35 lawyers and 60 staff. Ramsden Lawyer’s primary focus is on corporate and business law, litigation and dispute resolution, property and real estate law, and family law.

John’s recognition as managing partner of the year can only be made possible by the hard work of the entire Ramsden Lawyers team and highlights the accomplishment of the firm’s ten nominations at the awards ceremony.

A mighty congratulations to John Ramsden on this considerable achievement, who founded Ramsden Lawyers 17 years ago. John, 41, is supported by his wonderful wife Melissa and three young children, Isaac, Mason and Isla, whom were all born and attend school on the Gold Coast.
