Grant Furiosi is a Special Counsel in the firms Family Law Division, admitted to practise in both the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. Based in Brisbane, Grant provides trusted family law advice and representation across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
With almost 15 years of experience dedicated exclusively to family law, Grant is well recognised for his knowledge in divorce, property and financial settlements, parenting disputes, child support and domestic violence matters. He has a particular interest in complex parenting and property cases, where he is committed to achieving outcomes that are “just and equitable” and in the “best interests of the children”.
Before becoming a family lawyer, Grant served in the military which shaped his strong work ethic, integrity and calm, practical approach to resolving disputes. Grant also has experience and maintains professional relationships in small business, investing and property development. He appears regularly before the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and the Magistrates Courts, using his experience and advocacy skills to secure positive and efficient outcomes for his clients.
Grant’s decision to practise family law was driven by his genuine passion for helping people navigate life’s most challenging situations. He understands that separation and family matters can be highly emotional and stressful, and he works closely with his clients to provide reassurance, clarity and effective guidance throughout the process.
