James Wright
Law Clerk

James Wright is a Law Clerk in our Litigation Division. He completed his studies at Griffith University in July 2025, obtaining a Bachelor of Laws with Class IIA Honours and achieving academic excellence for his studies in 2024. After changing careers from an electrical apprentice to a full-time law student, James found solace in the law and enjoys developing strategic solutions and achieving the best possible resolution for clients. He is set to be admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2026.
In the early to middle stages of his degree, James worked as a claims adviser at an insurance brokering firm. He gained valuable experience helping people navigate the difficulties of the insurance industry. In this role, he developed formidable professional skills that he has seamlessly implemented at Ramsden Lawyers since joining the team as a work experience clerk in April 2024.
James is known for his resilience, determination, adaptability, and strong work ethic, which he has solidified through our Work Experience Clerkship program. James has since gained recognition for his relatable personality and his refreshing combination of professionalism and empathy when approaching clients and their matters.
James has continued to develop his skills and demonstrated a meticulous approach to each case, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to achieving the best possible outcome for clients. He values honesty and transparency, believing that clear communication is essential in building strong client relationships.
