Kimberly Allen is an experienced personal injury and institutional abuse lawyer with more than twenty years of dedicated practice in complex litigation. She is recognised for her thoughtful, strategic approach and her genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable clients through challenging and often deeply personal legal matters.

Since her admission in 2008, Kimberly has built extensive experience in personal injury and abuse litigation. She spent almost two decades with a national personal injury firm, acting for clients in a wide range of complex claims and developing strong expertise in litigation strategy, case preparation, and courtroom advocacy. Her work has included significant and sensitive matters requiring careful judgment, detailed analysis, and a steady, client focused approach.

In 2023, Kimberly broadened her leadership experience by accepting the role of Legal Practice Director at a statewide for-purpose organisation delivering free legal services to individuals experiencing domestic and family violence across Queensland. In this executive position, she led multidisciplinary legal teams working across family law, domestic violence law, criminal law, and migration law. She also collaborated with government and sector partners to strengthen service delivery and promote trauma informed practice frameworks.

Kimberly’s decision to pursue a career in law was shaped by her belief in its capacity to create meaningful change. She is motivated by the opportunity to secure just outcomes for individuals while contributing to broader systemic reform. Her work reflects a strong commitment to fairness, accountability, and ensuring that those who have experienced harm are treated with dignity and respect throughout the legal process.

Clients benefit from her depth of technical expertise in personal injury and abuse litigation, her senior level strategic insight in complex matters, and her calm, measured leadership style.
