Marilia Vianna
Law Clerk

Marilia Vianna is a Law Clerk within the Migration Team at Ramsden Lawyers, where she assists with drafting legal documents and visa applications, conducting legal research, managing new enquiries, and supporting the team across a range of matters.
With prior experience as a qualified lawyer in Brazil, Marilia practised in the areas of commercial and international trade law for one year before relocating to Australia. While completing her legal studies in Australia, she gained diverse legal experience through internships in migration, commercial, and intellectual property law, as well as working as a paralegal in personal injury.
Marilia holds a Bachelor of Laws from Brazil and has recently completed a Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at Bond University in Australia. She is currently awaiting admission to the Supreme Court of Queensland, expected in June 2025.
Her personal journey as an international student pursuing permanent residency sparked a passion for migration law and a strong desire to assist others navigating similarly complex pathways. This lived experience provides her with deep empathy for her clients’ situations. She also brings strong multicultural communication skills to her role, being fluent in English and Portuguese and proficient in Spanish.
Outside of work, Marilia Vianna is an active member of the Latin community and can often be found at salsa and samba dance classes or social events.
