Riley Hickey - Litigation Lawyer - Ramsden Law

Riley Hickey joined the firm in 2022, starting as a Law Clerk and progressing to her current role as a Lawyer within the Litigation and Dispute Resolution division. Riley holds a Bachelor of Laws (Class 1 Honours) and a Bachelor of Psychological Science.

Since joining Ramsden Lawyers, Riley has been actively engaged in a broad range of commercial litigation matters, with a particular focus on building and construction disputes. She has gained significant experience advising and representing builders, principals, subcontractors, commercial developers, residential property owners and industry professionals in contested matters across both Queensland and New South Wales.

Riley regularly acts in disputes involving matters arising in relation to the Building Industry Fairness (Security of Payment) Act 2017 (Qld), Queensland Building and Construction Commission Act 1991 (Qld) and Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999 (NSW), including disputes relating to payment claims and adjudications, defective and incomplete works, delay and variation claims, termination of contracts, and regulatory compliance.
