Sable Mitimeti will be admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2022 following the completion of her Bachelor of Laws graduating with 3 academic excellence awards. Since Sable started working at Ramsden Lawyers, she has exclusively practiced in the area of family law.
Sable has gained experience in a wide range of property, parenting, child support and spousal maintenance matters. Sable has a particular interest in alternative disputes resolution, having completed a certificate of mediation during her tertiary education as well as interning at the Australian Disputes Resolution Centre in Sydney. She prefers to utilise the various alternative dispute resolutions pathways in an effort to assist partiesin resolving their matter outside the Court arena. Sable also enjoys implementing a holistic resolution process in parenting matters, especially those where conflict and risk is heightened.
Sable’s primary objective in her practice is to support client’s throughout their family law matter. Sable exercises compassion with her clients and prides herself in being approachable. She aims to have client’s feeling comfortable in the support they are receiving and confident in their representation. Sable works closely with the Head of our Family Law Team, Ailsa Day (Special Counsel) to ensure client’s benefit from the wealth of experience which Ailsa offers.
